Post Project Reflection

Which picture was the best shot of this assignment? Why? My first shot was the best shot of this assignment, it was the best because of the pattern kind of motion, and because of the details.  Which picture was the weakest shot of this assignment? Why? The third picture was the weakest, it was weak because it was out of focus and kind of blurry. How can the weakest image be improved in future shoots? In future shots I can make sure that my camera is in focus and that I move the camera less to capture the image. Did you use Photoshop, Lightroom, or both? What tools in the program did you use to edit the pictures?  I used Lightroom I used the whites, black, saturation and the texture in Lightroom to edit my pictures. How were you able to meet the objectives (GOALS) of this assignment? I was able to take my pictures, edit them, and turn them in to meet the goals of my assignment.  I also took the pictures to the specific assignment.  ...

Backlight

Image
I think my second picture is the best shot of this assignment because of the lighting reflection.  My first picture is the weakest shot because of the strong back light that appears.  The weakest image can be improved by focusing the camera and positioning yourself in a position that dims the light for your camera. I used Snapseed to edit my pictures and I used the grunge, saturation, white, and healing tool.  The editing was easy about this assignment because I had good tools.  Taking the pictures was difficult because of the focusing and the light. If I could do this differently I'd turn it in on time and not be so late.  I'd give myself a 4, while I did take the pictures and edited them, I procrastinated and didn't meet the deadline.

Ansel Adams - Do Now

What type of Photography does Ansel master in? I think Ansel masters enviromental photography because all his pictures are landscapes. How does he bring out the textures in his objects? He brings out the textures by using different cameras or focusing the camera on the object. What is your opinion on his work? I think his work is really good and detailed. Why do you feel this way? I feel this way because I think his pictures can bring people to be more aware to the environment, and his images make you feel a sense of freedom.

Which pi cture is the best shot of this assignment? Why        The best shot of my assignment was my 3rd shot, I felt like that because it has really good lighting that brings out the texture.        Which picture is the weakest shot of this assignment?  Why?       My 2nd Picture was the weakest shot because its not really a texture or doesn't look like it would've been the best picture to put in there.       How can the weakest image be improved on in future shoots?       I think I could like really get closer to the pole or use it for another project, I don't think it meets texture.             Did you use Photoshop, Lightroom, or both?  What tools in the programs did you use to edit the pictures?         I used Lightroom to edit my pictures, with their saturation, texture, and detail ...

Post Project Reflection

Which picture is the best shot of this assignment? Why My 4th picture was the best shot of this assignment. I thought this because it really draws out the leading lines in the picture and that's exactly what i was going for.  Which picture is the weakest shot of this assignment?  Why? My 5th picture was the weakest shot of this assignment. It was the weakest because of the lightning, the brightest thing in the picture was the building in the back of the picture and everything ended up kind of grainy.  How can the weakest image be improved on in future shoots? Next shoot, i can make sure there is more lightning towards the front of the image, I can also try to make sure that my camera can recognize all the colors there and not become grainy.  Did you use Photoshop, Lightroom, or both?  What tools in the programs did you use to edit the pictures?  I used Lightroom to edit my pictures, in Lighroom I used the Vibrance to...

Pictures

This picture represents simplicity because the flower is positioned at a point where that's where your eyes go without any other distractions in the picture. This picture is avoiding the bulls eye because the painting is put in a place to avoid the middle or at least a little. This picture emphasizes height because of the way the photo was taken which makes the pole appear bigger than it actually is. This picture represents leading lines, because the electric lines in the picture draw your eyes in. This picture emphasizes distance because the building in the background is farther than it seems. This picture represents the rule of thirds because its positioned at the left to avoid the middle and met the grid points on my camera. This picture represents leading lines because of the fence lines. This picture represents simplicity because of the lesser amounts of distractions in the picture.  CONTACT SHEETS  ...

The Falling Man

I think this picture is in the Time Magazine's 100 best because it shows the desperation these people and our country was in that day. It shows the chaos and the raw real thing, that people would rather jump out because it gave them a slight chance of survival. Its also a snapshot remembrance.

The Difference Between a Snapshot and Artistic Photography

A snapshot is a shot taken quickly as if in a rush and informal. An artistic photo is an image taken by the photographer specifically according to a vision.
